Canberra Baptist is a vibrant and open Christian Community drawn together by our love of God, our love for each other, and our love for God’s world. We are a diverse group of people of all ages and we embrace many different stories of faith.
We love to meet together in worship, small groups, share a variety of social activities and offer hospitality to one another and our neighbours. As we seek to follow Jesus we share a commitment to loving our neighbours and issues of social justice and peacemaking.
For the remainder of the year we have two regular Sunday morning services
- 9:00am followed by morning tea.
- 10:30am preceded by morning tea.
Our services seek to engage people of all ages, to touch them spiritually and equip them for living out their faith. Worship at Canberra Baptist Church is thoughtful, structured and features challenging preaching and a variety of worship styles. This is a singing church!
Sunday School (preschool to high school) is held during the 10:30am service during school terms.
Four times a year we have a combined 10am service to accommodate our quarterly church meeting. Dates will be posted in advance on our events page and in the weekly bulletin.
We have a range of small groups that meet to share our lives, to grow in faith and to enjoy life together. Some follow a familiar Bible study format, and others focus on films or books or specific age or gender groups.
