Our services seek to engage people of all ages, to touch them spiritually and equip them for living out their faith. Worship at Canberra Baptist Church is thoughtful, structured and features challenging preaching and a variety of worship styles. We are currently running combined face-to-face and livestreamed church services at 10am each Sunday as well as an exclusively online mixed-method worship gathering at 6pm.

Sunday Morning

Sundays weekly 10.00-11.00am on Zoom and in-person.

We are currently running a combined face-to-face and livestreamed church service from 10-11am each Sunday. There is no need to book in advance, you can just show up. While we are practising physical distancing we are operating on a first come first seated basis. If the church sanctuary reaches capacity we have an overflow room, which will allow you to watch the service from the hall, via zoom.
The link for tuning in remotely is below, and if you are new to the church just email office@canbap.org to say hello and request the password. (noting that the email is not attended over the weekend so requests sent after 12pm on a Friday will not receive a response until the following week)

Sunday School Family Church!

Sundays monthly, 10.00-11.00am in-person

What started out as an innovative response to the Covid Crisis has actually transformed the way the Canberra Baptist does children’s ministry. increasingly church leaders in children’s and family ministry are calling for Christian education and discipleship of young people to happen in the context of families. They have found that this is the way that children learn best (that stuff sticks!); when they see faith being modelled by people just a bit older than them and by their parents and by the generations above.
We encourage children to feel welcome at our Sunday services, and each week our worship time includes a children’s talk. Once a month there is a ‘Family Church’ service that is run concurrently with our regular Sunday morning service. It is a multi-generational focussed, highly interactive opportunity to learn about God’s love. Having (or being) a child is not a prerequisite for attending family church. We understand that ‘family’ means a lot of different things to different people, and we welcome everyone, no matter what your situation, to join in the fun of Family Church.

Family Church services are organised and facilitated by teenagers in our church, with Belinda providing assistance to them by helping them plan the service, and coming up with creative ways to learn about the gospel.

We have a creche room that full of toys and fitted with a speaker that allows you to listen to the service whilst supervising your little one.
