The empires of the future are the empires of the mind. Vision is the key to understanding leadership. Without vision you are just playing games with your life. Men and women with vision see more and 
further than others. Leaders have empires in their brains.

Imagination is one of the most powerful things to possess. Imagination is your dream machine. Leaders organise special dream times. Time to dream big dreams. The tragedy today is we crush the ability of our children to dream by demanding that they grow up too soon. Real leaders have never lost that childlike ability to dream dreams.

Helen Keller said, “The greatest tragedy to befall a person is to have sight but lack vision.”

Leadership is: 
                      
                   Knowing what to do next
                   Knowing why that is important.

A leader is one who has the courage to dream, the ability to organise, and the strength to execute the action necessary. A leader is simply one who knows where they want to go, gets up and goes.

Vision is:

                  Vision is the basis for your success. 
                  Vision is essential for leaders. 
                  You will see further down the track than your peers. 
                  You will know where you are going.

Vision creates goals that you set for yourself. They help you overcome failure and hardship. Vision moves you to capture the dream God has put in your heart. Vision never allows you the luxury of discouragement. It never allows you to accept anything that is negative. Vision challenges you to implement any goals that will accomplish your dream.

Leader for the future:

The future has never been filled with greater challenges. To meet these challenges will require that we raise up a new breed of leader. Here are some of the things that leaders of the future will have to be aware of:

1.         learn to be willing to unlearn.    

2.         must be willing to venture into the unknown.

3.         leaders will need to become and remain well-informed. 
            They will need to develop the ability to effectively communicate.

4.         leaders will need to learn to live in balance. 
            Will need to show the principles of not just making a living, but making a life.

The future is upon us and it promises to bring drastic, unforeseen alterations. Leaders committed to change, learning, and excellence can create winners in a climate of change. We do not owe our people a brighter future, but rather we owe our future brighter people.

Without good leadership in our world, the future is filled with danger. With good leadership I believe the future will be filled with eth greatest opportunities man has ever known.
