24 Hours With Saw

Saw Gideon

My first waking though is usually along the lines of, “ Oh God, is it really morning already?” He knows I’m not naturally a morning person, so I have three alarm clocks set from about 6.00 am.

It is at that time of the day when I often think it would be nice to have a mum or man around the place to help me. By the time I’ve got already stuck the washing into the well and a black cup of coffee, I find myself flying out of the door late.

Home is not so big near the Church and to the store.

I don’t really pray formally, I just have a running conversation with God. Too many pray because they think you have to use formal language and they feel silly.

Most morning I wash my hair and put on a little hair spray. Unfortunately I’m not very good at it.

I’ve just bought a bicycle so I ride to school for a morning service between .8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.. From my home it’s only five minutes to school.

After the morning service I start study so many things which belong to many kinds of knowledge and wisdom with my friends. Occasionally in the afternoon I sometimes pay a visit to my friends or reading the story. I usually get home around 4:00 p.m. and feed the chickens and pigs. I might play football, go for a walk or lie on the floor or practice very elementary yoga. Sometimes I have a bath and read. I occasionally just slump into a chair and watch some telly. Getting dinner involves taking something out of the freezer.

Mostly I grew up in the ghetto and I had many friends there. I don’t feel lonely although I do sometimes miss my best companion who lived in Chiang Mai.

Bedtime tends to be about midnight. But before I go to bed I always write a “Dear Diary” except it’s “Dear God.” It is a kind of prayer.
