Hope
is the feeling of expectation and desire for some thing. We can't see it.
If we live without hope, as long as we live we will be like a dead person.
As human beings we want to live in our own society, live in freedom, want
to have rights. The world is full of evil, so we can't have what we want.
But we must not live in despair lives. We must have hope and live hopeful
lives.
Even
hope can be complex and conflicting. Let me explain. One group of people
may hold a certain kind of hope. That hope may be for power and domination
over another group.
A
second group of people may have a hope which does not harm others, a hope
wish frees the one who maintains it and will not infliction a sorrow on
others.
Hope
needs to hold an element of freedom and true freedom does not deny another
person's freedom.
However,
we live in different circumstances or earning our living in different
work, we must have hope. We must struggle to fulfill our hope.
As
human beings to have hope means we must have dreams in our lives. Our
Karen people have struggled for freedom a long time. Our fore fathers and
leaders had a dream that our Karen people will go back to our own country.
We will have freedom and live peaceful lives by the grace of God. Our
people have struggled for freedom fifty two years, but we cannot lose our
hope. We have faced many difficulties, we have lost many lives, but we
have lost as many lives because we have not lost our hope. We firmly have
a hope that one day we will be free from these hardships.
Hope
is a feeling that makes us to become a useful person. We belong to family
and society. Therefore we must live with hope to serve our people. While
we walk through our lives we face many problems that prevent us from
fulfilling our hope. So we must have perseverance. We must trust that one
day our hope will be fulfilled.
