This could be also placed after the confession.
It would be appropriate to read the text of any formal apology that has been made by your church synod or council.
You may wish to have church leaders, lay and ordained, sign a community entry in the Sorry Book at this point (text should be pre-prepared by members of the church community).
Space needs to be set aside for others to sign and make apologies either here or during other parts of the service - for example, during communion, or following the end of the service.
