Rev. Jeanette Mathews and Ginny Graylin visited the Zomi Baptist Church in the state of Mizoram in India, in February this year. The Zomi people are an identifiable people group in Mizoram with their own language. The Zomi churches were established as a mission venture of the Chin Baptist Association in Manipur, the adjoining Indian state, to enable indigenous worship and education. They have 14 local churches, three pastors and three administrative staff.
